To use the Library’s e-books, you simply need a device with an internet connection. An e-reader is not required.

To search specifically for e-books within the Library's online search, follow these steps:

1. Library Search:

From the Library Homepage, go to Library Search.

2. Sign in:

Click the link at the upper right corner of the screen. Sign in using your OHSU Network ID (the first part of your OHSU email address before the @ symbol and the associated password). If you do not have a Network ID, use your last name and your OHSU Library barcode.

3.  Search:

Once you have signed in, use the Journals, Books, & More field to search for the item you would like to request.

4. Select:

Select e-books under Refine My Results, located on the left side of screen.

4. Get Access:

Click the Online Access Options link below the name of the item you need and click on the blue Get access from link to access the text online.
