OHSU students, faculty and staff receive 10 free interlibrary loan requests per year (faculty/staff) or quarter (students). Interlibrary loan requests are requests for items not owned by the OHSU Library. After the 10 free interlibrary loan request cap has been reached, the following fees apply:

  • $10 per request for faculty and staff.
  • $2 per request for students.

For OHSU students, faculty and staff, document delivery service is $10 per request and is not part of the free ILL program. Document delivery requests are for those items OHSU Library owns in print. If you don't wish to pay for a scanned PDF, you can always place a hold on the volume to then scan yourself. We can also deliver the volume via campus mail.

Unaffiliated users with a Loansome Doc account are charged $25 + copyright fees for items obtained from other libraries (interlibrary loan service) and $14 for items filled from the Library's print collection* (document delivery service).

*We cannot provide items from our electronic journal collection to unaffiliated users due to licensing terms.
